Static Toad LabsPrivacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Static Toad Labs ("we", "us") handles personal data when you play Crosshue (the "Game") or visit this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. The short version: our Games collect no personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts and no third-party SDKs.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Chris O'Brien, a sole trader in Ireland trading as Static Toad Labs. Email: hello@statictoadlabs.com (game support: support@statictoadlabs.com).
2. Data we collect
The Games do not collect personal data. Progress and settings stay on your device. The only personal data we handle ourselves is an email you choose to send us.

If you turn on reminders, the Game schedules local notifications on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn reminders off at any time, in the Game or in the Settings app.
3. In-app purchases and Apple
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details or Apple ID. Apple's handling of your data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Apple services
The Games include no third-party SDKs. The only services that may process data are Apple's, each under the Apple Privacy Policy:
- App Store purchases — handled by Apple. Static Toad Labs does not receive your payment details.
- Game Center (optional) — if you are signed in, the Game sends achievements and leaderboard scores to Apple so you can compare them with other players. Static Toad Labs does not receive that data. You can sign out or change what others see in Settings › Game Center.
5. Tracking and your choices
We do not track you. The Games do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and they do not collect your location, contacts or photos. There are no ads.
6. Children's privacy
Our Games are suitable for all ages, and they collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
7. International transfers
We do not transfer personal data from the Games outside the European Economic Area, because the Games do not send personal data to us. App Store purchases and optional Game Center are handled by Apple, which may process that data outside the EEA. That processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
8. Retention
The Games collect no personal data, so there is no Game data for us to retain. Progress and settings stored on your device are deleted when you delete the Game. Apple keeps App Store transaction records under its own policies. Email correspondence sent to hello@statictoadlabs.com or support@statictoadlabs.com is kept only as long as needed to respond.
9. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). Because the Games do not send us personal data, there is no Game profile for us to provide or delete; progress on your device is removed when you delete the Game. To exercise any right in relation to email you have sent us, email hello@statictoadlabs.com. We will respond within one month.
10. Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) — www.dataprotection.ie — or your local EU supervisory authority.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. This website
This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It sets no cookies, has no analytics and loads nothing from other websites: it uses your device’s own fonts, and its images come from statictoadlabs.com itself. GitHub may log basic technical data (including IP addresses) to serve the site (see the GitHub Privacy Statement).
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
