Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Chris O'Brien, a sole trader in Ireland trading as Static Toad Labs (hello@statictoadlabs.com). They apply to Crosshue (the "Game") and this website.
2. Apple's Standard EULA
The Games are licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). These terms supplement the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple is not responsible for the Games or their support.
3. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Games on Apple devices you own or control. You must not cheat, exploit bugs, reverse engineer, modify, or use the Games unlawfully.
4. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. Crosshue Pro is a one-off purchase that unlocks content in the Game. It is licensed to you, has no cash value, and can't be exchanged or transferred, except that Apple's Family Sharing lets your family group use it. Refund requests are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022.
5. Advertising
The Games do not show advertising, and they do not include third-party advertising.
6. Intellectual property
All content in the Games and on this site (code, art, music, names and logos) belongs to Static Toad Labs or its licensors.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the Games or features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice where possible.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Games are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited under Irish law.
9. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer in another EU country you may also bring proceedings in your home country and keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws.
